Overview

What it does

Enter a website and get the questions its buyers are likely to ask at each stage of the decision journey. The tool reads the homepage to learn what the company sells, then lays out questions from the first sign of a problem through to the final choice.

Most sites cover the start and the end of the journey: informational articles at the top, branded pages at the bottom. The questions in between — comparing options, checking requirements, vetting a shortlist — are where coverage usually drops off. This tool puts those questions in front of you.

  • Takes a website address and, optionally, who buys from it (for example, "mid-market legal teams")

  • Reads the homepage to understand what the company sells

  • Returns about 30 questions across six stages of the decision journey

  • Gives each question in two forms: how someone would type it into search, and how they would ask an AI assistant

  • Marks the mid-journey stages, where most sites have the least content

  • Check each mid-journey question against your site. Is there a page that answers it?

  • Group unanswered questions by stage to see which page types are missing: comparison pages, alternatives pages, use-case pages, pricing explainers, integration pages

  • Use the AI-assistant form of each question to test how AI answers describe your category

Method

How it works

Enter a website

Add the site you want to map. Add who buys from it if you want sharper questions.

The tool reads the homepage

It works out what the company sells from the homepage. If it can't read the page, it asks you instead.

Get questions by stage

About 30 questions across six stages, each in search form and AI-assistant form, with the mid-journey stages marked.

Check your coverage

Look for a page that answers each mid-journey question. The unanswered ones show which pages are missing.

What is a decision journey?

What is a decision journey?

The path a buyer takes from noticing a problem to choosing a solution. Along the way they ask different kinds of questions: first about the problem, then about the options, then about one specific product or service.

Where do the questions come from?

Where do the questions come from?

From what your homepage says you sell, plus the buyer group if you enter one. The tool doesn't guess at products or features the page doesn't mention.

Does it show search volume or rankings?

Does it show search volume or rankings?

No. The free tool shows the questions buyers are likely to ask, not how often they're searched or where you rank. A Pro version with rankings, search volume and who ranks for each question is planned.

What if the tool can't read my site?

What if the tool can't read my site?

Some sites load their content in a way the tool can't read. If that happens, it asks what the site sells and you run it again. The failed attempt doesn't use credits.

Can I run it on any website?

Can I run it on any website?

Yes, any public website.

Why does each question have two forms?

Why does each question have two forms?

People phrase things differently in a search box and in a conversation with an AI assistant. The short form helps with search content; the longer form helps you check AI answers.
